Floorplan Aan de GrachtThe building of Social Impact Factory Aan de Gracht has a remarkable story. This listed monument holds centuries-old charm and a long tradition of progressive and independent thinking. The iconic building owes its name to one of its most famous residents, Belle van Zuylen; until 1770, it served as the splendid winter residence of the enlightened writer. Years later, this location became a setting for forward-thinking writers and eager young minds who wanted to engage in social life. It was also the first school where boys and girls sat in the same classroom. As Belle van Zuylen once wrote: “I do not ask for freedom of thought, I already have it.” A place with both history and a future — one that suits us, and hopefully you too!
