The Green Escape: Working together for a greener future

At our organization, we value sustainability and making a positive impact on the world. That’s why we’d like to introduce you to one of our inspiring partners: The Green Escape! They show in a surprising and interactive way just how fun and educational teambuilding around sustainability can be.

What is The Green Escape?

The Green Escape is an educational and active escape room game about sustainability. The game brings teams together to engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in an accessible way.

Instead of being locked in a physical room, The Green Escape brings the experience to the participants. The game can be played at almost any desired location. From an office space to an event location in the Netherlands or Belgium.

Learning about the Sustainable Development Goals through play

During the game, participants work in small groups of about 6 people on 8 different SDG puzzles. Think of themes such as climate action, responsible consumption, education, and inclusivity.

Using an envelope box full of clues, WhatsApp, online codes, photos, and videos, teams unravel the riddles in a race against the clock (75 to 90 minutes). Meanwhile, a professional Gamemaster provides the necessary guidance and enthusiasm.

Direct impact: Planting trees for a better world

What makes this collaboration extra special is the concrete result. It’s not just about awareness, but also about actual action: for every team that manages to escape successfully, 5 trees are planted. This way, every session played makes a direct contribution to a greener planet.
